Using Airtable to update a users "score"

Hi
Im trying to use airtable to track and update users scores (just a number starting at 1). I am having trouble extracting and updating data based on the users email. For example, airtable requires that I update data using the row number, but I need to do it using the users email that sits within that row.

Doesnt the local database get wiped everytime the app closes and reopens?
