Whenever I click on someone’s profile it says they have a certain number of cheers, but when I try to click on the link in the cheers to find out where they got them, it says this page has not been found.
I’m just curious in what they are and would appreciate if anyone could tell me
I’m guessing that’s a feature of the Discourse software that runs the forums that was enabled at some point and now is disabled. See this: Discourse Gamification - Plugin - Discourse Meta
This is related to some changes we’ll be introducing soon.
@matt_conroy
I am now confused as it says i have 863 cheers on my profile???
On the leaderboard for all time I only have 15.
Also, when I click on it, it says that that page can’t be found which is the same for all profiles.
Is this a glitch?
The amount of cheers in your profile is the total amount over the lifetime of your Community account. The Leaderboard is for a specific amount of time–just this quarter I believe.
Clicking on the cheers would normally take you to the global leaderboard but I believe @brianl restricts access to that so that you can only see the Leaderboard for the current season.
