Our Thunkable Community can not survive without the help of YOU, our valuable Creators. I know over the last couple of years, we’ve asked a lot of you. Now, it’s time for us to give back.
How would you like see Thunkable reward our most active, responsive, and helpful users? All ideas are welcome but I would encourage you to be reasonable with your suggestions.
Some ideas to get us started:
- Custom Badges
- Access to “members” only categories in the Thunkable Community.
- Free swag!
- Opportunities to attend online events with the Thunkable team (“Office” Hours, Town Hall meetings, Workshops, Webinars, etc.)
- Free Thunkable plans
So here’s how this will work:
We have a system on our backend that will allow us to give a score to each user of our Community. Scoring is based on certain actions you take in the Community
- Creating a new topic
- Replying to a topic
- Having your post marked as a solution
- Reading posts
- Giving a like to a post
- Receiving a like to a post
- Etc.
When we officially roll this out, we’ll make a post to let you know the exact number of points each action is worth.
We’ll post the leaderboard at the end of each period. If you’re a part of a certain tier at the end of each month, you’ll be eligible for at least one of the rewards given. For example, the top 20 users at the end of the month will be eligible for a certain reward. The top 10 will get this reward plus something else. And so on and so on until we reach the winner. They’ll receive all of the rewards for the month plus something extra special.

Here a few ideas
'First Reaction' Badge
Change the first reaction badge to what I think would be its intended purpose.
To persuade people to be the first to help with another user’s question.
Also, what does it mean by first ‘reaction’? Wouldn’t this be first ‘post’?
I have checked how has got this ‘First Reaction’, but I didn’t see how they got the supposed first reaction.
NEW: 'First Created Topic' Badge
I’m pretty sure that there isn’t one already but it works by encouraging users to ask new and interesting questions.
This would help grow the community as more questions would be asked and more answers to unique questions will be answered, making it easier to find existing topics with the answer to your question.
NEW: 'Answerer' Badge
I don’t think there is one but, you would get this badge by a certain number of your posts (e.g. 5) being marked as a solution.
This will persuade users to want to help the community more by helping others solve their problems.
SIDE NOTE: Could probably also have a badge that you get for your first solution? Just an idea that came up in my head.
NEW: 'Reader-like' badge (Very bad name but the ideas good)'
Have a badge like reader, but instead it is for reading a lot of topics (e.g. you get it after reading 500 topics).
You could expand on this by having different milestones like something for 1000, 1500, e.t.c.
Another idea that fits with this would be to have a similar thing but for the amount of posts red.
This means that more people will read a more variety of posts and topics, helping expand the community along with allowing more questions to be answered.
SIDE NOTE: I’m not very good with naming things. You probably should change some of my names for the badges to be more suited to how you get it.
I may add to this when I get more ideas but here are a few I have thought of.
