Urgent Help Needed – Firebase & Airtable Disconnecting After Project is Copied (Thunkable Student Account)

Hi everyone,

I’m using a Thunkable student account as part of an educational organization and have been experiencing several issues. The most urgent one at the moment is that I do not have the option to download an APK directly from my account.

As a workaround, my coordinator copies my project into their own account to generate the APK. However, every time the project is copied, the connections to Firebase (used for authentication) and Airtable (used as the database) are lost and stop functioning properly.

Although we’ve tried reconnecting Airtable manually, and update the blocks accordingly, the blocks no longer work as expected—they neither store nor retrieve any data.

This project is part of a dissertation with a fast-approaching deadline, so any guidance or suggestions to help restore proper database functionality (or a way to enable APK download directly from my account) would be deeply appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Cláudia

Hello @claudiaaradas
Probably the new project doesn’t have access to Airtable. You can verify this by checking if you see the data on the connected data source inside the project.
The best solution is for your teacher to contact our creator success team to improve this process.
