Stretched background image still leaves white space?

I have my background image resize settings set to “stretched” however the image still is not covering the entire screen. Can anyone advise here?

When I use a background color, there is no white space at the top or bottom. I can’t figure this out!

As a side note. I am on an iPhone 11 with iOS 13. This is only happening when I download the build. These white bars are not present in the live view companion app.

no. well. only when i use the bottom tab navigator (havent tried top tab, but could) as seen below.

Ah yes - sorry I misread the question. I know what this is, will check in today and see what the status is!
