Speech recognizer always truncates the last word in the spoken sentence

I have added the speech recognition component in my app but when I tried it, it keeps deleting the last word of the spoken sentence.

I switched to another language, but the issue is still there.

Is there anyone has tried this feature? Has it worked fine?

Welcome to Thunkable!

Can you post a screenshot of the blocks you’re using? Without that or a link to your project, we have no idea what to suggest because you could have set it up any number of ways…

Thank you for your reply.

You can find my project in the following link:
https://x.thunkable.com/copy/f85381a77924292eb351268fd4a912fa

When I said: “Welcome to your home”, it recognizes only:“Welcome you your”
I don’t know why last word is always omitted.

NOTE: this error doesn’t happen with first and second use, try many times please.

Because you are listening partially.

Unfortunately the docs are lacking on how to implement this block

If the issue is replicable across users it is a bug that should be noted/reported.

Of course I have thought of that. But there is no difference.
Anyway, thank you for your suggestion.

Could you clone the app and try yourself. I would be very thankful.

Thanks for your help. There is no need to change the recognized language as I use the default; English

The problem is it stops once you stop speaking, so it might think you have stopped speaking in the middle. So @Thunkable_Staff have to update the blocks.

Would be nice to be able to manually control how long of a delay there is from the last word until it stops listening.

I add an extra unused word to my sentence. But this is strange for other users.

How can we report this issue to Thunkable developement team?

Doesn’t necessarily sound like a bug though. What do you feel is the bug?

Hello @hamadayahia73ez
Thank you for taking the time to investigate and provide more information.

We have flagged it to our sales team and they will be reaching out to you as soon as possible.

@vishruth-ram the thing you are saying sounds more like a feature request.
Please make a separate post on the Feature request category.
