I’m experiencing an issue with the audio in my app. After browsing for 2 to 3 minutes, the audio stops functioning entirely. I’ve tested this with both cloud-based and local audio sources, and the problem persists across all of them. The only way to restore audio is by restarting the app, which isn’t an ideal solution.
The app is primarily educational, designed for children to learn basics like the alphabet. I’ve included some screenshots and code blocks from the application to help illustrate the issue.
I’m facing a very similar issue: in my case any sound stops working after 20/30 plays. It worked just fine until a couple of weeks ago and then all of a sudden any newly downloaded app is bugged (same isue on three different Android phones) while they all work fine in the web preview.
How can we formally report this issue to Thunkable? The app functions correctly in test preview, but in live test or after downloading, the audio stops responding after three minutes.
I have same issue with my app. On one screen i have 16 buttons and pressing any of them playing same sound. but after about 20-30 plays there is no sound anymore.
Hi, thank you again for your patience. I would like to let you know that we have now officially released a fix for this bug with the sound playing for a limited number of times.
Please keep in mind that you may need to do a hard refresh of your browser for the changes to take effect in your project. If this issue is present on the Thunkable Live app, you will want to update that through the App Store and/or Google Play Store before any changes will occur. If your downloaded or published app is affected by this bug, you will need to re-download or re-publish your app for these changes to take effect.
