Hi,
I have an app published to iOS 2 years ago, now I am trying to add a push notification feature it, while in the process I came to know that I don’t have the .csr file I have only the *.cer file only
can I regenerate the csr using the cer file ?
thanks in advance
Hi @ayunsolutions
To get the CSR file for push notifications:
- Open your Thunkable project
- Follow the steps to publish iOS
- Click “Click to download CSR” to get the CSR file
thank you @ioannis ,
I will go through it and update you, as last time I published an iOS app was 2 years ago
@ioannis
One thing I noticed, that in https://developer.apple.com/ there is no certificate is there and when checked the profiles in profile section, it is expired and when I edit and save it, it says
“There are no current certificates on this team matching the provided certificate IDs compatible with IOS_APP_STORE profiles“
how bad is that? do I still can release and update to the app on apple store through thunkable ?or I need to create new app?
@ayunsolutions this is not a big problem. You just need to create a new certificate and provisioning profile and then you will be able to publish an update for your app.
