meanwhile you can do this by using a clock component, when the clock triggers you can check if the text has changed or if not empty, etc …

yess but to much things for a simple thing like that
yes! there are other functions that are need it but since is not available yet and if you really need it them there is not much choice than do a workaround until the functions are implemented to thunkable
