Hi Thunkable Community!
Very recently I mentored a Technovation challenge team (app development competition) and my team had already elected to use Thunkable. I had no prior experience with Thunkable, though I am a (retired) back end developer and had used MIT app inventor and Code.org’s App Lab before (very limited way) as teaching tools. Should add here that in my retirement I’ve been mentoring Girl Scouts in robotics and coding and helping to form teams for competitions like Technovation.
There were a few bumps in the road with the TechnovationX tool, but the support from this community and direct from Thunkable was helpful and got us back on track.
Now that this mentoring project is over, I’d like to create a “app development” event for our Girl Scouts using ThunkableX. I thought I’d reach out to the community and Thunkable staff to see if folks have already gone down this path and would be willing to share their teaching resources or offer suggestions.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
