[Solved] Send the user his Airtable data for backup

Hi,

My app will have many users and their data will be stored in Airtable.

Now for each user, I want to keep a “BACKUP” button in the App which will send them an Excel/Google sheets with all their data using a saved email id. This is mainly to ensure that they have a copy of their data in case something goes wrong.

I have already got the user data in various lists but is there a way to do this?

Hi @thestrengthinstitute,

You might want to use an external service for this, especially if you want to email the user a copy of this. Something like Intergromat or Zapier are great solutions, and they will walk you through the process of connecting something like this, and calling the cloud function via api. Hope this helps.
