Is there a block in Thunkable equals the segment text block in MIT app inventor?
I am just a beginner

Hi, have you tried the text block ‘getsubstringfrom’? It looks like that’s the same function as the MIT block which asks for ‘start’ and ‘length’.

Yes, I tried it, but something going wrong.
Actually I am a beginner, and I am trying to copy Hangman tutorial from app inventor to Thunkable.
But I am facing some problems with this block.
