Open an app from where the user left off

Hello,
I have an app where the user hits a button to receive different text via a list. RIght now every time the user opens the app it starts from the beginning of my list. Is there a way for the user to go to the place they left off after seeing the branding screen even after closing the app? Currently I just have this:
