Need a way to list Wifi Access point names

Unfortunately, at the moment, it is not possible to get a list of all wifi access points, but this is a good suggestion! I’ll pass it on to the team.

This depends on the platform.

  • Android: Yes, you can list nearby Wi-Fi access point names (SSIDs). You need location permission and Wi-Fi scanning enabled.

  • iOS: No, Apple doesn’t allow apps to scan nearby Wi-Fi networks. You can only read the currently connected Wi-Fi name.

  • Cross-platform apps: Works on Android, but will be limited on iOS.

So if this is for a mobile app, design it knowing that full Wi-Fi scanning is Android-only.
