Issue with IAP Subscription [Oct 2022]

I tried the one time purchase too (not the subscription), just to see and this is what it came out, i honestly didnt pay much attention on it as it was just a try but maybe it can help?

still haven’t find a solution yet, but i’d share my experiments that can be helpful in the future.

These are my latest blocks:

Starting from the numbers that appear on the image:
For now i’m just testing on Android devices

  1. When i click the button, it skips completely the “purchase phase” and it goes straight to the “Candidati” procedure

  2. When i LongClick the button it shows me:

  1. When i Longclick the button it doesn’t show anything, nor the “error” nor the “purchase”, literally it’s like I haven’t pushed anything.

Thanks for sharing your results of your experiment! This is a separate issue that has came up as a result of a fix we implemented, but we are aware and doing further fixing for this new issue. Thank you for your patience as we try to resolve this as soon as possible.

Fixes requiring fixes is not what this platform needs. Fixes should be 1 and done. Thank you for being honest and keeping us in the loop, that is big integrity points.

Thanks for letting us know, @nongyen. If you want to send me a DM and share your project URL, I can get that added into our ticket. Having your projects added in there helps our engineering team see real examples of these bugs in action. Usually the more we get, the more we can try and prioritize a fix for it.

i was just wondering if there are some news from here?
And, if there are not, may I ask when could be the range of time this fix will come out? I mean if it’s on your top priority list or if we will need to wait from 1 to 6 weeks or more…

It’s already a couple of months now i’m facing this issue and i was wondering if i need to pause my activity for a while as IAP is a real focal point.

I have the same problem that Maurizio described.

The then do section of iap subscription never fires, (see the code below).

I think you must give much more priority on this bug because it is blocking revenues for your customers (us), never mind how many people are complaining.

Can not be treated like a new feature, it is a critical and very urgent bug for us!

Please, give us a resolution plan as soon as possible.

sorry but this is the standard response from Thunkable and, in my experience with the Platform, after this kind of reply nothing happens anymore, I guess you can imagine how afraid I am at this point.

So, please, indicate precisely and transparently if you are working on the problem and which is the date of the fix.

I already explained in which way this represents a blocker for the developer community and how many months of work (1 year in my case) we risk to throw in the garbage because we are blocked in the more important point of our work, making revenues.

Again, I kindly invite you to say as soon as possible the plan for this fix.

@dani19130a I know this is important to and everyone else who is involved in this thread because of the monetization aspects involved. This is absolutely a priority for us, too. We also know that these types of issues with IAP can be pretty labor intensive for our engineers. Having said all of that, we’re going to get a timeline for this issue to be solved by next Wednesday.

Hi everyone, we heard your urgency around this and released a fix on our platform hoping to target this issue.

To be transparent, in the interest of speed, we did not do a thorough QA on our end. We aimed to get this out to you as quickly as possible before the Thanksgiving holiday.

Please test this new version and let us know if it resolves the issue! I’m rooting for some success stories here.
