Incorrect Google Maps API

Hello,

I’m trying to implement Google Maps API.
I followed the step by step instructions here and succesfully created an API key that works perfect on the browser.

When i place it in the Google Maps API > Web API panel in the Thunkable’s app setting, it won’t let me download the build and an error message pops up saying “Google Maps API incorrect”.

What am I doing wrong? The problem shows when i try to download the iOS build, as said it works perfectly in the browser

Thank you

Hi @maurizio.polverini89, sorry to hear you’re having an issue here.

I have a test app with the API key filled in for iOS, Android, and Web but am unfortunately not able to replicate this issue when downloading the app for iOS. The way we have maps API keys set up, the key should be the same for all three platforms, can you confirm you have it entered correctly?

Happy to help get this solved!

Thank you for your time looking into this.
It didn’t work because i just placed the API on the Web, my bad.
I followed these intructions:

I thought i had to do a different procedure for Android and iOS.
Hope this error will help someone else stock in my same situation in the future.

Thanks again.

Sorry for the confusion here. I am not sure why the location blocks have these instructions. They’re quite different from what is in our Maps docs and neither seem to be exactly right.

We’ll get those fixed so they show the correct info soon.
