How do I send Push Notifications?

Hi,
currently, I just found the documentation how to setup OneSignal and how to assign the AppID, but I don’t see any methods. Is there any documentation how to send or receive messages?

Once you have set everything up as outlined in the docs then you are able to send notifications from your OneSignal dashboard!

sure, but actually one would like to use methods for sending notifications with this component itself. Also, I miss attributes like playerID, or events that would be triggered once a user clicks on a notification etc.
