Gif on canvas not displaying animation

Hi all,

I am trying to use a gif in canvas but while using the sprite the gif does not move.
The ‘picture selection’ of the sprite is animated despite the actual sprite on my canvas being frozen.

Is it possible for gifs to work on canvas?

No, the canvas can only use jpeg png… picture files, if you want animation, upload multiple pictures! Use the program to change quickly.

I am not sure if it Will work for you Because it does for me.
Rename the gif to PNG, jpeg OR Ay other image file type and load it in the Sprite.
