Custom fonts, transitions, pre-loading (UI essentials)

Really liking Thunkable so far but am running into a few issues I can’t find answers on:

  1. Do custom fonts work when publishing? The custom font which I uploaded isn’t on my downloaded app.
  2. Is there a way to change transitions between screens? If not, can you at least change the direction of the screen change movement and the shadow?
  3. Is there a way to pre-load the design and some blocks of the screen before it opens? I often get a lag changing between screens which shows a few split seconds of the screen before variables update and it looks really clunky.

Fixing up these issues will make it possible to make really professional looking apps with a beautiful UI

Hey @fastasarocket - welcome to the community.

  1. At the moments, fonts are platform specific. You can read more here: https://docs.thunkable.com/fonts
  2. Transitions can’t be changed at the moment - would definitely be nice to have these in the future.
  3. Not that I know of. Any chance of a screen recording? Are you pulling data from the cloud that is causing the lag or is it stored locally?

Would love to hear a little more about the app that you are working on at the moment,

Thanks,
Domhnall
