Copy a block of code from one screen to another

Is it possible to write a block of code on screen one and then duplicate it and drag it to screen 2?

You can use Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V(Command+C and Commad+V on a Mac).

Use Ctrl + c to copy and Ctrl + V to paste.
