I’m trying to clone my project and am clicking ‘Make a Copy’ in the editor, and ‘Duplicate’ in the projects view. Nothing happens. Is it just me? Thanks
Duplicate the project and wait for 2-3 mins so Thunkable’s database can store that I think you must be duplicating and clicking the project or closing the tab.
Refresh you projects screen and look for the new projects that you just duplicated.
Note:
Projects when copied takes on the create date of the original project so you might not see your copied project in the top of your project screen.
This. I’ve mentioned this to staff and I think they are looking into it. Try searching the Projects page for the name of the project. The Projects page is sorted by most recent project by default but because of the creation date bug, copied projects retain the original creation date – even if the project has been modified before you copy it. So a project created June 2020, modified September 2021 and copied September 2021 will have a last modified date of June 2020.
Thanks @tatiang, @muneer and @namitnagar! It turns out it was a combination of these issues. It was taking a while to copy and I also didn’t realise the copy took the original date. Now I have more than 20 copies hahah
