UI Design Feature request

Having started using Thunkable only a few weeks ago, I am blown away by the relative ease with which apps can be created.

However, while I think that a lot of attention has been paid to the “backend” (blocks), the “frontend” (design UI) would benefit from some additional features.

There should be options to assist in the alignment of components on the screen. Yes, there are the lines that popup to show when you are aligned to the left, middle, right, top and bottom as you move components but there should also be options to

  1. select multiple components by holding shift and selecting.
  2. align selected components - left, centre, right, top, bottom and middle
  3. distribute components horizontally or vertically within the boundaries of the components at either end of a selection.

These will help us developers produce a higher standard of app and further propel Thunkable to the top of the nocode ecosystem.

for that you can move to StP or use a layout component

What is StP?

Untick the “use drag and drop interface” option while creating project and you’ll see

In our Drag and Drop Editor, you can now use the Layout component to align components vertically or horizontally within a container. There is no need to build your projects specifically using the Snap to Place editor for this.
