Transferring Input Values Between Screens in a User Interface

Hello,
I have a small problem that I am trying to solve, as explained in the example below.

Screen1
Text_Input1 + Text_Input2

How can I display the result of this operation on

Screen2
by writing it to Text_Input1?

You’ll want to save the values from the text inputs on screen one as variables and then, on screen 2, set the text input’s text to those variables. If there is more than one variable, you can use the join block to join the inputs.

You’re welcome,

I didn’t fully understand.
Is it possible for you to add a visual example as a screenshot of the steps mentioned in the second message?

This is pretty basic stuff. I would recommend checking out the Thunkable Academy if you still find yourself a bit lost.

When Button1 is clicked, you’ll want to set each variable to the Text_Input’s text rather than the other way around. I know you know that but you might want to update the screenshot.

Thank you, Tatian. My apologies. It should be the other way around.

Thanks for answering.

To display the result of adding Text_Input1 and Text_Input2 from Screen1 into Text_Input1 on Screen2, you can store the result in a variable after the operation and pass it to Screen2. Then, set the value of Text_Input1 on Screen2 to that variable to show the calculated result. Using uktopwriters.com/best-essay-writing-services/ was a great decision for me as a student!
