Status bar issue

Hello, I want my app to be displayed in full screen but the thing is that when I remove the showstatusbar and turn it off the status bar doesn’t show anymore but a blank space appears to replace it, making it even worse than at the beginning.

How may I fix this ?

Yes, issue also appears in iOS
