Stamp function on canvas

Is there a workaround for stamp function for stamp function to work on canvas component.

Issue: stamp function on canvas doesn’t work as expected or do nothing.

I contacted staff however it was flagged to engineering team.

Stamp’s expected behavior is to freeze the frame of the sprite in its current position.
You could have the same result by setting the speed to 0

Sorry with no clear documentation I thought it will duplicate the Sprite meaning the sprite will be stamped and another one will keep moving onwards.
