No Video Recorder in Drag and Drop Thunkable

There is no Video recorder for me in Thunkable Drag and Drop. Why is that?

I’ve been wondering the same thing!

D&D also doesn’t have anywhere near the same audio recording system, and you also can’t make vars audio files anymore in D&D, so you can’t save your sounds.

So do you think there will there be any features like those coming in the near future? Currently making an app kind of based on those type of features.

Not sure.

I just tried this and it’s working and can replay the video in the app

It’s still very different from the older version.

The same problem of not being able to save it is still there.

Also, the video’s audio is lagging behind for some reason.

Can you try this simple project?
https://x.thunkable.com/projectPage/610d613c86abb30010688272

The app starts with a sample ( Radiant Media Player) video

  • Start/Stop button to start/stop the video.
  • Record is to start your phone camera and record until you press STOP button on your phone.
  • Filename to show the filename of the file being played.

Let me know what other missing basic functionality.

Weird.

Saving didn’t work earlier but now it just did.

Anyway, thanks.

The issue is with the new sound system, it won’t allow you to save sounds. It always returns “[object Object]”.

Below is an example.

But, why does it work and not the other one?
