Need help making a submission form/app that pulls data and updates google sheets

Hello Thunkers,

I work for a carpentry company and we are in the process of creating a tool inventory catalogue (google sheet).

I’m looking to create a simple app that has 2 buttons. “Add Tool” and “Move Tool” .

Add tool-When a carpenter buys a tool they open the app and hits the “add tool” button, fill out the form using text inputs and drop downs, which pulls data from a spreadsheet, and hits the “submit” button. This data is captured in our catalogue. After hitting submit, they are given a Tool ID number which is auto generated based on the form inputs and existing Tool IDs referenced from the catalogue. The idea is for them to now physically label the new tool with the generated ID.

Move Tool- We want full visibility of which tools are at which location. When a carpenter moves tools from one job site to another they will open the app and click the “Move tools” button. This brings up a screen that has a label of " Move Tools" with a Tool ID text input and a “Locations” drop down, which both pull data from the catalogue. When typing in the Tool ID, it will auto suggest selection based on input. After selected an “Add Another Tool” appears under it, this is so we can move multiple tools to one location at once. Once the Tool IDs are in place, the carpenter will choose the location it’s being moved to from a dropdown and hits “submit” button. This will auto update the location column in the catalogue for the tools that were just moved.

Thanks for your time and your interest!
Blair
