When manually setting a visual components height or with via the properties panel, these changes are not observed. In order to observe the changes you must change a different property related to the visual component such as its X/Y position.

Changing another property like x y location has no impact. I am still unable to change the button size in the button property menu! When I do change it by dragging the button outline the button drops to a new random location.
Also, I tried to center some text in a button. The location of text in the final app does not match the location of the text in the the Design environment.
