it’s really a merge of a random quote generator and a random person generator!

it started as an item of curiosity on my part - how can i capture one of those pictures from thispersondoesnotexist.com website? after i figured out, i realized that i couldn’t change the way the returned image is displayed - i’ve tried stretch, cover,center, contain, etc. but the picture remained as the left half of a rectangle - so i left it like that and just added another object to accompany it: a random quote! (thank god for free api’s! details in the program).

i just created a thunkable “app” (pardon the UI) that generates horoscopes using a Markov chain. First it loads the source horoscopes (maybe 200 lines) into the Markov chain and it’s ready. here are some outputs (they almost sound like real horoscopes).
