Hey all! Does anyone have a way to disable the automated verification email sent by firebase? It’s clashing with the welcome email campaign I send out to each user!
I don’t recall ever seeing this setting (but it might be buried somewhere in Firebase?)
Would it be possible to start your email campaign once the user has verified their email address?
I believe you have to disable email/password under providers in authentication. That’s how I did it anyway.
You’re answering on a post created 2 years ago. I don’t think anyone will wait that long for the answer.
Please try to avoid bumping up old posts.
I’m going to have to agree with @muneer.
Thunkable was very different 2 years ago, and Firebase has also had some changes.
to disable this all you have to do is go to SMTP setting and enable it.
then put in info that will fail
Hi @admin8w, welcome to the Community! As a general rule of thumb here, please try to avoid bumping old posts.
If you have discovered something about an old post, you can always start a new thread about that issue.
Thanks so much and Happy Thunking!
