Debugging in Thunkable X (Video)

Hi @tatiang, thanks for your reply.

I have set my authentication up the same way as you. See bleow:

I was wondering if there is an expiry date of some sort for the Sign In Authentication in Firebase. I am using the “Spark” tariff (the free one!). Could this be the reason?

Andos?

I don’t think there is. I’ve been using Firebase for over a year and never gotten an error. And I haven’t paid anything for the account. :man_shrugging:

Hi @tatiang, it’s looking like the issue maybe an API issue then because my Login was working perfectly fine one day and then the next day it wasn’t.

Once I had set up and working, I never interfered with it. So, as you suggested, I’ll need to contact Firebase and see if they can resolve this.

If the issue is found to be with Firebase, I shall let you know my findings.

This will now be after the festive season.

Andos.

Hi @tatiang, I hope you had a good festive. I went to the “help section” in Firebase and found the following.

Here is the link: Firebase Status Dashboard

I don’t actually understand what it means but I suspect it is relevant to my problem. I do not know what to do with this information. How do I respond to this? and What action should I take? I cannot find a way into a forum and when I try to search for my issue in the Help Centre no results are produced no matter how I ask my questions.

Hi @tatiang, my problem has now been resolved.

I have now found the error. For some reason during the Thunkable Authentication issue, I had changed the API key in an attempt to fix the problem. I had used the API for my GoogleMaps instead. (Doh!).

I simply replaced it with the correct Firebase API key and now everything works again!! :grinning: :grinning: :+1: :+1:

Thanks for all your help and patience

Many, many thanks,

Andos.
