BarCode scanner Issue

For some reason, when I click the button to scan something, it comes up undefined. I followed this tutorial:

https://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwjC0pj6ttPuAhXhct8KHV0HDkEQFjAAegQIARAC&url=https%3A%2F%2Fdocs.thunkable.com%2Fbarcode-scanner&usg=AOvVaw1reAHtbmCVNYWp3g24A73a

I am having a similar issue. I click the button and the camera comes up. I then point at a QR code and it is recognized and the camera close. However, nothing is ever returned.

When you post an issue on the forums, be sure to include at least a screenshot of your blocks. The project link is really helpful, too.

If you are using a block that generates a green error block, then you need to check the value of that block. You can assign it to a label, for example. What is the value of that error block?

You can see an example of how to use the error block in the documentation here:

I am new to using Thunkable and have found my error. The barcode scanner is working just fine.

Glad to hear it. It’s always helpful if you can post the solution you found.

@qayuma8g - I appreciate you asked this a while ago, but were you ever able to get this working?

Did the scanner return any error?

Thanks,
