Probably a silly question for all you advanced developers, but what blocks would I need to have appearing text.
Not an alert. For Instance a button titled “Saturday” and when user clicks it, text appears next to it with a recipe.

Not sure what you are looking for exactly, but you can just create a label wherever you want the text to appear. In the designer just remove the text from the label and set the text of the label using blocks when a button is pressed. Something like:

Thanks, Rob! My thunkable live was not working when my blocks looked like that ^^^ so I thought i was missing something. Turns out the live app was just a step behind and I jumped the gun. thanks though!
