My Samsung S20FE phone updated last week, and since then, push notifications using OneSignal stopped working.
Through a process of elimination, I discovered that when an apk built using is installed, notifications are automatically blocked. (Maybe its a setting on my phone but this could apply to many users). When I check OneSignal, I can see that the status of my phone is ‘Permission not granted’.
If I close my app, and then manually go to ‘apps’, scroll down to the app I created, and then allow Notifications, and disable ‘Remove permissions of app is unused’, OneSignal can send push notifications.
Is there an easy way to allow notifications through Thunkable?
A quick update.
Notifications work perfectly in ‘Live Test’ but don’t work when I build and test an apk.
