After Beaver: Splash screen opens then flickers off, then opens again

So I downloaded my app and found that the splash screen has this odd double-loading effect. It appears and then disappears and then reappears. Is this my own situation or do your apps open the same way?

Any ideas what would cause this apparent instability? (All of my apps crash anyway.)
