Timers are useful in many situations. It’s good to be able to control when a user can both start and stop an activity in an app. Provide limited access to certain aspects of your app.
Goes well with:
This goes well with a game round that should only last 3 minutes and in this case you want to display the remaining time on screen. Alternatively, a student studying flashcards for 1 minute at a time could be aware of how much time is left in that study round. Or even in an app like Kahoot, they display the time remaining to provide an answer
