Downloading the source file from the new UI

Hi, Is it possible in the new UI to download the .aia source file? Or is it planned and there is an eta?

Hey @marirondine,

The cross-platform version of Thunkable has replaced .aia files with share links since it was launched in 2017.

They’re significantly faster to use and much easier to manage.

In the new UI all you need to do is:

  1. Click the Share icon in the top bar
  2. Click the Generate Link button in the next pop-up

Hope that helps!

@domhnallohanlon,

The share link option is not available (chrome on Windows 10 screenshot below)

Thanks @domhnallohanlon, but I confirm what @drted has just posted, I can’t see the share icon on Chrome/windows 10. May be it’s an option only of the Pro version?

Nope. I’m PRO and it is not there. :frowning:

Sorry about that - we’ll fix it in the next release.

it can be done like
copy
thhis

@eko.devs.apploroceo - that is not the way to generate copy links. The links with /project/ in them are project links.

That being said @marirondine, while we’re working on the fix, you can also share a link to your project detail page.

Visitors to this page will see a remix option to create a copy of the project for themselves.

Hope that helps.

Thanks it can be useful. Just a question, when share links are available, will more people be able to cooperate working on the same project at the same time?

if u are a non pro user then
click this

then

use them

to share simply copy URL of page
