I am just using text input for the first time and found a setting “MaxLength” in the text-input component’s advanced settings tray. I want to limit the user input to just three characters and so put a “3” in this setting…but…in Live Test I found I could still enter as many characters as a I chose to. Can anyone tell me where I am going wrong on this one?

What device are you using? I’m having no issues with this on my end using the iOS Companion, on the latest update.
This doesn’t quite work as of now on Web Apps, so if you’re using the on screen live test on x.thunkable then you will find that this doesn’t quite work.
I second this ^^^ the live preview is not what you will see on your phone 100% of the time.
I use it for quick checks on functioning but when stuff looks funny, I go to my phone.
