Set date picker to DD/MM/YY

Date picker only has option to set date in American format. Is there any way to change this to DD/MM/YY?

Thanks!

+1 @eoinparkinson :+1:

I am also looking forward to this release - In India we too use dd/mm/yyyy or dd/mm/yy …

Thanks!

Hey @eoinparkinson and @kartik14. This is probably a pain in the but for you 2, however, there are at least a couple of workaround options. Here are two examples of altering the typical date output for the community to choose from.

Hi, @jared!

The work-around is nice, but -

  • since it’s dd/mm/yyyy , it should appear as 12/03/2020
  • It’s appearing like dd/mmm/yyyy i.e. 12/Mar/2020.

Thanks!

This is a nice workaround! I’ll have a try at this but I am trying to keep it in the format dd-mm-yy. I can change the “/” to a “-” but the format must be dd-mm-yy

Here it is!

This solution works, but again it is requiring the user to input 3 values separately, whereas one date picker is much more streamline. This is a great workaround nonetheless. Thanks!
