If I use a top or bottom navigation bar, the screen open event (and screen starts event) are not firing when I switch between screens. Is this correct ? If so how do I detect when I open a screen ?

Check this post [image] Issue with "when Screen Starts" event since Jan 12, 2021 Questions about Thunkable Hi there, out of nowhere and without me making any changes to the app, I noticed multiple things not working any more when testing in Thunkable Live on Android. Those are just the first three examples I noticed: On multiple screens: “When screen opens, from Label set text to XYZ” doesn’t work. List viewer literally just disappeared and isn’t showing any more on the screen. On one screen: “When screen starts, set labels to XYZ and background images to XYZ, then clone and set visibility to true…

That would explain it. I am assuming they are aware of this and are going to fix it ?

Yes they are. We are all waiting for the fix.

Thanks for highlighting. I have the same problem too. But my problem is inconsistent. Some pages, the “screen open” blocks triggered but some don’t… this happened on web apps, live tests but not on downloaded apps. I find it very difficult to continue working like this.

Thunkable released a staging solution for the test. You may try if it would solve your issue. [image] Issue with "when Screen Starts" event since Jan 12, 2021 Questions about Thunkable Hello all! We are planning to release a potential fix for the issue with Screen starts block. The upcoming release can be accessed here: Please let us know whether the issue persists on Web and/or on building the Android app. Note: Currently the testing platform does not support Live testing on Android and iOS. Please download Android app to test. Thanks, Janhavi

Thanks!.. I went to check out the thread and replied there that the start/open blocks seemed to work now.

Glad to hear that. Are you saying your issue is also solved?
