If I publish one of my apps as a web app and send a link to someone, could they open the link in their browser and then “Add to Homescreen” on their mobile phone to kind of make a mobile app out of it?

As of today, this doesnt work appropriately AFAIK. This cauess the app layout to appear wrong. too tall in most cases.
thunkablecompanion for example does look good when you view in browser but not on desktop
