Hi! I’m trying to make an app that scan/ read a pdf and formats it into an excel sheet. Is it possible to create this on the Thunkable platform?

Hey @sada484161jf6sm ,

This sounds like a great idea but extracting data, and in particular tabular data, from a PDF is quite challenging.

There are lots of third-party services that offer this, some paid, some freemium and a few free ones but off the top of my head I can’t recommend one.

If you were able to find a service like this and export your data to Google Sheets, then Thunkable would come into the equation as you would be able to present that data then in an app.

Okay, thank you! I’ll try to find some services that could help me with this.

Do you think that I could be able to use any of these services to extract data from the pdf’s?
