Issue with LocationSensor Component - Missing Latitude and Longitude Properties

Dear Power Thunkar,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out regarding an issue I am facing while using the LocationSensor component in Thunkable.

Issue Details:

  1. I am unable to see the LocationSensor1.Latitude and LocationSensor1.Longitude properties in the block editor.
  2. Additionally, I do not see events like when LocationSensor1.GotLocation or when LocationSensor1.LocationChanged.
  3. As a result, I am unable to properly store the location data (latitude and longitude) into variables.

What I have tried:

  • I have used the LocationSensor1.GetCurrentLocation block to retrieve the location, but I cannot access or store the latitude and longitude after the data is retrieved.
  • The Latitude and Longitude properties do not appear in the “Properties” section or the block editor, preventing me from utilizing location data effectively.

Request:

  • Could you please provide the correct steps to configure and use the LocationSensor component to obtain latitude and longitude?
  • I would also appreciate it if you could help clarify why the Latitude and Longitude properties are not appearing in my project.

Based on the naming conventions used here, it sounds like you are referring to our older Snap to Place interface. All of our latest features will be in our newer Drag and Drop interface.
