AAB file instead of apk

when i download the file its an aab file how do i make it an APK file

when i request to download it only does the aab file.

Hmm… I just tried downloading a project and it resulted in an .apk file. I’m not sure why you’re getting AAB files. Are you clicking Download Android?

yes i did that but it sent me an aab file

i was using the drag and drop interface

I you select Publish Android you will get AAB. If you select Download Android you will get APK.

i selected download but was using the drag and drop editor

I would suggest trying it again because if you are downloading (not publishing) the project, you should receive a link to an .apk.
