Overview
This article outlines how to achieve the following:
- Upload images to the forum
- Download blocks from Thunkable
- Screenshot on Windows
- Screenshot on macOS
- Screenshot on Android
- Screenshot on iPhone
1. Upload to the forum
When asking a question in the forum it’s a good idea to include as much detail as possible so that your issue can be resolved as quickly as possible.
Thankfully the forum makes it very easy to upload images. When you create a new topic, or reply to a topic, just hit the upload button to add one or more attachments.
But how do you go about getting the screenshots in the first place?
If you want to share images from the designer, an emulator or your Android device keep reading.
3. Screenshot on Windows
On Windows, to copy your screen to the clipboard just use the following keyboard shortcut:
Ctrl + Prt Scn
Or Strg + Prt Scn for German language speakers.
With your screen copied to your clipboard you can then open any image editor - such as Paint - then paste and crop to suit your needs.
4. Screenshot on macOS
On a Mac it’s even easier. Using the shortcut cmd ⌘ + ⇧ + 4 you can select the exact are on the screen you want to capture. The resulting screenshot is saved to the desktop and ready to upload. No image editor needed!
5. Screenshot on Android
This can vary from device to device but usually one of the following two methods will work.
Pressing and holding the power button will bring up a menu, which on some devices contains an option to take a screenshot.
On other devices pressing and holding two buttons (such as power and volume down) will take a screenshot.
Once a screenshot is taken you get a notification about it as well as the option to share your screenshot.
