Version 460 of Thunkable was released on Jun 5, 2024

Platform Updates

  • Improvement in front-end performance for projects with numerous screens and components.
    Screen components are now loaded when they become visible and unloaded when they fall out of view to reduce the burden on browser resources and enhance the overall Thunkable experience.

  • Resolved an issue with Audio files containing accented characters in their filenames on certain iOS devices.

  • Improved the process of creating data sources from Google Sheets.

  • Enabled public access for JavaScript Web Bridge - Docs

Please keep in mind that you may need to do a hard refresh of your browser for the changes to take effect in your project. If you experienced any of these issues on the Thunkable Live app, you will need to update to the latest version through the App Store and/or Google Play Store before any changes will occur. If your downloaded or published app is affected by any of these issues, you will need to re-download or re-publish your app for these changes to take effect.

What is the outlook on improving the BLE functionality to accept NOTIFY incoming data from devices? I’ve been hoping for a year that thunkable would make that improvement as most devices are constantly sending data and it should be received on NOTIFY. It would open the doors tremendously for IOT projects. Anything in the works or am I never going to see it?
