Native App updates and future app development

What is the process for updating a Thunkable native app? Do you have to submit the update to your developer account each time and then have it accepted for your users to update. Or does it update automatically?

Additionally, If i choose to build my own custom app down the Road with all proprietary code. Would i be able to just submit that to a developer account as an update? Or would I have to have all of my users download a separate app or will i be able to use the same one with all the same ratings?

As the publisher, you get full control over what updates to ship, and when.

Your second question is more nuanced, in theory, it should be possible, but what sort of app are you building? What components are you using? etc etc
