Hey thunkers! I would like there to be a donate button in my app. The previous post (from 2020) seemingly didn’t resolve this problem. The documentation also doesn’t contain any information about such a function. Can we somehow beat this problem today after in-app purchases and some other stuff have been added?

Yes, but I suppose new third-party services for donations could have been integrated since then.

You can use a link to PayPal as it allows donation.
