Roseanna Misuraca is a Computer Science Middle School Teacher at Edgar Middle School in Metuchen, NJ. She believes computer science can be a tool for good, creativitity, self-expression and endless possibilities. Roseanna feels that every student needs to have a fundamental understanding of cs in order to be prepared for the future. The focus of her teaching units are on fundamentals like Computer Systems, Networking, Algorithms, and Programming and the Impact of Computing on Society. She help draft the new 2020 New Jersey Computer Science and Design Thinking State Learning Standard. Besides teaching at a public school, Roseanna is also a facilator for Code.org and an active memeber of CSTANJ.
