On a more serious note, I started out in app inventor like so many others and found my way to thunkable a few years ago and have been on and off the platform since. You know how it goes, start something and either get too busy or stuck to continue.

Once upon a time I had a nice little paint app published to Google play, but I never kept up on the emails saying I had to do something to keep it published so it went bye bye. It was pretty good for a first real try at modifying an app I learned from a book. In fact, I think I built that particular app with app inventor 2. I could make a much better version now with thunkable and the new drag and drop ui, but paint apps are abundant so I’m focusing my energy into a pretty hefty project for a relative novice. I’m learning a lot as I go and the community here is great for finding answers to questions or asking a new one.

I’m a problem solver and a little obsessive compulsive, so if there’s a question that I’m capable of answering, I will not hesitate

I hope to be able to give as much knowledge back to the community as I’m getting. To fellow beginners, try not to give up on your app if it gets tough. There’s a bit of a learning curve, but it’s gonna be so worth it in the end to see your vision come to life. When you’re stuck this awesome community can help pull you out.
